With picturesque dams meeting lush green lawns, our self-catering cottages can accommodate up to twenty eight people staying on site for the event, with options of decor and various setting styles to match your wedding design.

Our attention focused and friendly staff will be on hand to assist with any special requests where possible, and a family friendly venue means that all guests are welcome.

As Berghaven Wedding Venue and Self Catering Cottages are open throughout the year, we can accomodate weddings surrounded by the warm yellow and orange colours of autumn, or the crisp fresh and temperate days of spring, with the bright colours of the Drakensberg flora creating a magical setting. Our property boasts beautiful scenic photography opportunities, veld grass, forest, gardens, fields of maize, wheat or soya to take photos in depending on the time of year.

Our prime location within the Champagne Valley also provides easy access to local picturesque locations, and helicopter rides, for magnificent photo shoots, or even group activities to enthrall guests with an adventure wedding getaway. With so much to offer the Central Drakensberg is the perfect place to have your dream wedding.

Other Functions

NOT JUST
WEDDINGS

Our venue offers flexible spaces, and can facilitate a variety of functions or events such as family reunions, groups of golfers, yoga retreats and year end functions. All types of functions are all welcome, and we can sleep up to twenty eight people on site, with accommodation for over five hundred others within 10kms of the Berghaven property. The Champagne Valley also offers a vast array of caterers to choose from, providing a multitude of catering options for any event.
